My tentative schedule begins on February 7, on Monday mornings, with classes at 9:15 and 10:15 a.m. (based on enrollments only), lasting 45 minutes. The curricula offered will be OUR TIME, which has been a fan favorite among my alumni!

Here is more information about OUR TIME!

Kindermusik Our Time encourages children to be creative, to initiate their own ideas and to respond in their own ways, while the parents’ active participation gives the toddlers and early preschoolers the security they need. Playing instruments, singing, moving and exploring uncover an engaging musical world while building confidence, self-control, and communications skills.

What a Parent and Child Will Experience in Class:

• Instrument exploration and ensemble skill development -- Children will explore the physical characteristics and sounds of age-appropriate instruments which will eventually lead them to discover their potential for beat, rhythm, melody, and ensemble playing.
• Vocal play -- Through vocal play, toddlers learn to form vowels and consonants, say words and phrases, and imitate rhythm and vocal inflection. In Kindermusik Our Time, vocal play is presented within the context of songs, chants, and activities done in class.
• Exploration Time -- Children will love discovering specially designed instruments, textures, sounds, and movements.
• Story time and early literacy -- Listening to stories enhances language and speech development and fosters awareness of sounds, teaches use of language, and sends the message that words and symbols have meaning. The same experiences that help toddlers learn to read a book also help them learn to read music.
• Movement Activities -- Each class provides various opportunities for movement such as synchronized movement, group dances and circle games, and even expressive movement.
• Together Time -- Kindermusik is the essence of quality time, allowing parents to make the most of the fleeting toddler years, giving them the time and the tools to make music and memories together in class and at home.
• Expert advice -- A Kindermusik educator explains how the musically based activities enhance a toddler’s complete development.

• In just five lessons, experience a summer’s worth of music, stories and activities created to inspire a lifetime of learning. In a Kindermusik summer camp, parents and children will play, learn, sing, dance, create and share in the fun of making music together. Your Kindermusik educator guides the class through each research-proven and giggle-approved activity.
• Inspire children’s love of learning in our delightfully engaging summer sessions. Best of all, every one of our summer camp activities—the music, stories and crafts—is specially designed to nurture every child's natural curiosity, eventually drawing each child toward learning new words, new concepts, and new big ideas.

Enrollment includes:

• Developmentally appropriate class for parents and children
• 5 session semester— 45 minute class time, once per week
  
• One set of Home Materials including variations of the following: literature component, home activities, CD of music from class, instrument or prop and other special materials
• A free Kindermusik tee-shirt for your child(ren) with your paid enrollment!

Tuition is $70, which includes a tee-shirt for your child, home materials (a $35 value!) and 5-weeks of fun and learning! A second child's enrollment is $35 and also includes a free tee-shirt. There is NO CHARGE for siblings of enrolled students who are under 12 months of age. Older age groups will also create a snack during class! (also included in tuition price)

Many people have asked me to send them "cost proposals" for their children enrolling in my classes and I realized this information is not on my website!

So, here it is:

KINDERMUSIK ABC MUSIC & ME (ages 18 months to 4 years)
Four week class with one free bonus week at end of unit

ABC First Child: $50, includes home materials
ABC Second Child: $36 (second child receives 10% discount and does not purchase home kit)
ABC Third Child: $30 (third child receives 25% discount and does not purchase home kit)


KINDERMUSIK FAMILY TIME (ages newborn to 7 years)
10 week class with one free bonus week at end of unit

FamilyTime, first child: $125 This includes the $65 home materials set.
FamilyTime, second child: $48.75 (the second child receives a 25% discount and does not need home materials.)
FamilyTime, third child: $32.50 (the third child receives a 50% discount and also does not need home materials.)
***pre-walking siblings NO OLDER than 12 months old are allowed to attend FamilyTime with big brother/sister for FREE!!!***


KINDERMUSIK OUR TIME (ages 18 months to 4 years)

OurTime, first child: $150, includes $55 home materials
OurTime, second child: $71 (second child does not purchase home kit and receives 25% discount)

Announcing: Kindermusik schedule for the rest of 2009, early 2010!

After some thought and discussion with some of my favorite people (my Kindermusik parents, of course!) I have decided to switch things up for next year and add more curriculum. Starting in 2010, I will add Kindermusik OurTime to my schedule!

Here is my class schedule for the remainder of 2009!

On November 16, I will offer ABC Music and Me at both 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Our unit is "Silly All Over" and will conclude with the "makeup week/customer appreciation day" on December 14. Cost for this class is $45 if you register on or before Nov. 6, which includes the home materials. Full cost is $50.

Beginning in 2010, I will add OurTime and FamilyTime to my Monday morning schedule, keeping one session of ABC Music and Me for parents who prefer a five week class instead of an 11-week class! Watch for more details, class schedules and specials during the holiday season!


NOVEMBER SPECIALS:
Remember, if you register before Saturday, Nov. 6 you will receive a 10% tuition discount! (savings of $5!) Lincoln Mommies members who live outside the Seward area also receive a 10% "travel" discount. Don't forget that children who register in the same unit receive a 25% sibling discount (10% for ABC Music & Me.) Children under 6 months of age with an enrolled sibling are FREE!

Because my Monday morning spots for ABC Music & Me are filling so quickly, I have added another class time! Now you can enjoy ABC Music and Me on Monday mornings at 9 a.m. or 10 a.m.!

Beginning October 12, ABC Music & Me will be offered on MONDAYS! I am also slashing prices to make Kindermusik more affordable!

My new class schedule, starting on October 12, will be as follows:

Monday at 9:00 a.m. - ABC Music & Me: Animals a Dancing
This class runs four weeks and costs $60 $50

Saturday at 10:15 a.m. - Kindermusik FamilyTime: Our Kind of Day
This class is currently in session, but I will prorate the tuition for any late registrations! Come and join the fun!

Beginning on January 4, I will also offer FamilyTime on Monday mornings at 10 a.m.
Family Time is a 10 week class and costs $175 $125
